An ear prosthesis can enable a patient to wear glasses or improve hearing. A good prosthesis seeks to go unnoticed wherever possible.

Don't Presume All Prosthetists Can Do the Same Quality of Work
A lost portion of an ear (above) can be restored as well as a complete ear. This patient grew his hair long to hide the loss. The defect can be improved with a good prosthesis and restore a renewed sense of confidence. You can see the dramatic change as he "hid" the issue with long hair, but returned to cutting his hair as he cut it before the loss, restoring his confidence and outlook! What a difference!
A good outcome will decrease detection with increased anonimity which most of us take for granted in our day to day life!
It's not uncommon that we see patients with previos "attempts" from other prosthetists that have lead to mixed results. This patient recieved a mail order peice from a limb prosthetist that had the ear central fabbed (comparisons on the upper right corner). You can see the before and afters regarding the value of getting qualified care! A wax model test was made (lower left picture) to fit the prosthesis for a hearing aid the increased the fuction as well as the appearance. All aspects of the prosthesis were made by me, with input for the pateitnt at every step along the way. Patients need a prosthetist that actually does the work rather than a prosthetist that orders through the mail from a stranger.
